Terrible hotel in old quarters

I booked room with hotel , after fews min I canceled and then they tried to charge my card . That is not fair, I am very disappointed with hotel and never back. Not recommend this hotel . it's a scam I feel like my money was stolen. Terrible experience

Great location , very central and close to all attraction . The only thing is no lift here but its fine for young people like us because their price is reasonable . Its cheaper than the other hotel in the same area so you should happy with climb up .

Great location, nice room, very clean and above all great staff. Would highly recommend for any travellers but esp. for first-time Hanoi visitors! We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and the manager (Simon) helped us greatly with advice and honest price ranges for all the sightseeing spots, restaurants, taxis, traintickets and even our trip to halong bay. Couldnt wish for a better start in Hanoi and would come again!!

Great little hotel on a small street in old quarter Hanoi. We had great service and breakfast at this family run inn. They helped us arrange transport around town and got us oriented to the swarming streets. We really enjoyed the vibrant area and walked everywhere, including a food tasting tour, around the Lake and a Hanoi city tour that included Ho Chi Min monument and the water puppet performance. Aside from touristy things, we found ourselves situated here perfectly to jump out on our own and experience the vibrant street life around us. Nice knowledgeable and very welcoming. We recommend the Elpis at no. 5 wholeheartedly!

I spent 250+ nights in hotels in 2019, and my favourite was Hanoi Elpis, no questions asked! Its location is super central, the prices very affordable, but the best part is certainly the staff. When I arrived, the lady at the reception sat next to me, she understood the purpose of my trip, and helped me further plan it so that it would be memorable. My room was decent for the price, and so was the bathroom. The laundry prices are very cheap as well. Throughout my stay, the staff showed great interest in making sure I was comfortable. I felt like I was at a 5-star hotel. Truly outstanding!
